In August 2016 Impel Systems completed an upgrade for a Central Alberta canola oil producer. The existing control system was upgraded with new remote I/O to control three new canola oil presses, along with controls for numerous augers, limit switches, a level sonar, and seed cleaner shaker. The existing system uses a Redlion HMI, which was also updated for the new equipment, and Impel changed the existing graphic design to make it more operator friendly.
