We have recently completed the upgrade for an oil and gas client in Colorado, which included upgrading four KB-501 Portable Turbine Gensets, adding the ability to run on gas fuel in addition to existing liquid. We spent time on site updating all existing Allen Bradly Control logix racks from L5X to new L81’s, which are 100 times faster! We have also integrated our own load sharing interface, which implements new hardware and software, replacing obsolete 1407-CGCM generator protection.
Field personnel are now able to operate all four turbines from a central location, as well as see all necessary process information due to a centralized HMI server that we have installed. Additionally, the local human machine interfaces have been updated. We continue to support the facility remotely as needed.
